Freising is a city in southern Bavaria. It is located 40 km northeast of Munich and faces the Isar river. St. Corviniano began to build and was the religious center of Bavaria for a long time after the Catholic Diocese was established here in 739. By the early nineteenth century, the prison bishop had exercised powerful powers, such as the effective control of the whole area. In 1803, he became secularized and abolished the ordinance, and in 1818 he was promoted to a joint archaeologist with Munich, and is now leading to the Archdiocese of Munich. The Prison Cathedral is a joint bishopric of the Archbishop of Munich, with the Frauen Cathedral in Munich, and it began to be built in Romanesque style in the 12th century. The remains of St. Corbinano are buried. There are also many old cathedrals and monastery buildings. The Munich International Airport is nearby.
