Progressiveism
진보주의
Progressivism refers to the tendency or attitude to change a new one through a transformation against the existing political, economic, and social systems. It is often used as a concept against conservatism that pursues the stable development of the existing social system, but conservativeism can be regarded as conservative as well as moderate progressivist dreaming of progressive change and gradual progress. Therefore, in the essential sense, the opposite concept of progressivism is reactionism. Unlike conservatives who maintain social order and pursue economic freedom, progress advocates values of autonomy and economic equality. Progress is a concept that relies on the historical and historical background. There are various ideas and political groups that can be classified as progress, and the spectrum is varied. Therefore, depending on the age and region, whether the idea is a progressive ideology or a conservative ideology can be changed. 진보주의는 기존 정치·경제·사회 체제에 대항하면서 변혁을 통해 새롭게 바꾸려는 성향이나 태도를 말한다. 기존 사회체제의 안정적인 발전을 추구하는 보수주의와 반대되는 개념으로 쓰이는 경우가 많지만, 보수주의의 경우, 혁명이 아닌 점진적 변화, 점진적 진보를 꿈꾸는 온건한 진보주의자도 보수주의자라고도 할 수 있다. 그렇기 때문에 본질적 의미에서 진보주의의 반대개념은 반동주의이다. 사회 질서 유지와 경제적 자유를 추구하는 보수와 달리 진보는 상대적으로 자율성, 경제적 평등이라는 가치를 옹호한다. 진보는 시대적ㆍ역사적 배경에 따라 상대성을 띠는 개념이다. 진보로 분류할 수 있는 여러 사상이나 정치 집단이 있으며, 그 스펙트럼도 다양하다. 그렇기 때문에 시대, 지역에 따라 그 이념은 진보주의 이념이냐 보수주의 이념이냐가 달라질 수 있다.
