WHAT DOES 포토다이오드 MEAN IN KOREAN?
Photodiode
A photodiode is a semiconductor diode that functions as a photodetector. A photodiode has a window or fiber optic connection package that allows light to enter the sensitive part of the device. It is also used to detect ultraviolet rays or x-rays without a window. The phototransistor has the same configuration as the junction transistor and is placed in a transparent case so that light can reach the base-collector PN junction. Phototransistors behave like photodiodes, but are more sensitive to light. Because the electrons generated by the photons of the base-collector junction are injected into the base, and this current is amplified by transistor operation. However, phototransistors are slower than photodiodes.
