Pyongyang Student Boys' Palace
The Pyongyang Student Boys' Palace is an educational institution located in Jongno-dong, Jung-gu, Pyongyang. It was opened on April 15, 1967, and is mainly used by students who attend elementary and junior high schools in Pyongyang. It consists of 10 floors of 2 buildings and 5 floors of 1 building. It is 530 square meters and 211 square meters. There are cinemas with 1,000 seats, sports facilities and theaters for 5,000 people. There are commercial facilities, cultural facilities, and industrial administrative institutions of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, including the Mansudae Art Theater, the Great Hall of the People, and the Pyongyang 1st Department Store. It is also a favorite destination for international students and tourists visiting the DPRK.
