Tree
The tree is a deciduous tree that is 30 ~ 60cm high above the middle of Mt. Halla in Cheju Island. Leaves are alternate, arranged in 2 lines, oval or oval, pointed end, 2 ~ 6cm in length, 1 ~ 3cm in width, white on back, hairless, with pointed serrate on edge. The flower runs on each side of the leaf, the peduncle sagging downward, and there is a small bow on the bottom. Calyxes are 4 forked, lanceolate, corolla is reddish white, divided into 4 pieces and dried back. There are 8 operations and anthers are red. The fruit is round as a berry and ripens to a dark red color. Fruit is used for edible, soft drinks and alcohol production.
