성안상공신도비

He then went on to become the head of the Gangwon Province after he was transferred to the Hongan Muncheon Department of Education in 1533, after being defeated in the inter-governmental affairs of Sanganwon in the 28th year of King Sungjong (1533). 성안상공신도비(成安尙公神道碑)는 조선 16세기 전반의 명재상 성안공 상진의 신도비이다. 비문에는 중종·명종 연간에 활약한 그의 행적이 잘 적혀있다. 상진의 자는 기부(起夫), 본관은 목천(木川)으로 성종 24년(1493) 6월 5일 출생하였다. 아버지는 찰방 상보(尙甫)이며, 어머니는 연안인(延安人) 박사 김휘(金徽)의 딸이다. 어려서 부모를 여의고 매부 하산군(夏山君) 성몽정(成夢井)의 집에서 성장했다. 15세부터 학문에 힘쓰기 시작하여 성수침 형제와 교유하였다. 중종 11년(1516) 생원시에 합격하고 1519년 별시문과에 합격하여 승문원 부정자(副正字), 예문관 검열(檢閱)을 지냈다. 그 뒤 예조좌랑으로 북도평사(北道評事)가 되었고, 중종 20년(1525) 예조정랑으로 성절사(聖節使) 서장관(書狀官)이 되어 명나라에 다녀왔다. 이어 세자시강원 필선, 사헌부 장령, 사간원 헌납, 홍문관 교리 등을 지냈고, 중종 28년(1533) 사간원 대사간에 제수되어 홍문관 부제학으로 옮겨졌다가 강원도관찰사로 나갔다.
