Seoul Animation Center
The Seoul Animation Center is a facility built in the old KBS Radio Annex r building in the north of Namsan, Seoul, to nurture the cartoon, animation and character industries of the Republic of Korea. It is located in Soaparo 126, Jung-gu, Seoul and is operated by Seoul Industrial Promotion Agency. It is a 4-story building with a floor space of 1,800 pyeong in an area of 1800 pyeong. It was opened in May, 1999 with a supporting room, an information room, a private theater and an exhibition room. They hold annual exhibitions, show animations, run educational programs related to comics and animation, and support production.
