Step climate
The steppe climate belongs to the dry climate in Köppen's climate classification, also known as the grassland climate. Dry after the desert climate. It is distributed around the desert climate regions such as the Sahara Desert and the Australian Desert. It is mainly located in the subtropical high pressure zone. The symbol is BS, and the annual rainfall is 250mm or more and less than 500mm, and the annual traffic is about 25 ~ 30˚C. Because the rain is very temporary, little trees grow much, and short grass grows a lot. It is an open temperate prairie that appears mainly in the mid-latitude regions. The semi-arid climate is characterized by dry season and wet season, and generally dry season is longer than rainy season. The original step only referred to a short grassy pasture in Siberia and Central Asia, but now includes the Pampas, the Grand Canyon of Australia, the Russian Black Belt, the North American Prairie and parts of Africa. The soil is represented by Prairito and Chernozymto, which refers to the fertile soil of the American prairies, and Chernozyme refers to the fertile black soil of Ukraine.
