Stirling University
Founded in 1967 in Stirling, the medieval city of Scotland, the University of Stirling is a national university, located at the Bridge of Allan, about 3 km from the city center. At Stirling, there is the memorial of Stirling and General Wallace, who stayed with King James VI of Scotland. The University of Stirling campus is situated in a beautiful natural setting, beneath the hill of Abbey Craig and the Ochil Hills, on a vast 300-acre site with a medieval castle, a fully eco-friendly campus with golf courses and lakes . On one side of Lake Airthrey is a lecture building, a library, a restaurant, a concert hall, a shop, a bank and a post office, and the other is lined with dozens of dormitory buildings. All buildings are white in color and are in perfect harmony with the green nature. The beautiful library located on the lake has a collection of 500,000 books and 10,000 kinds of magazines to meet the needs of students.
