Emerging line
The Shinheung Line is the railway line of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, linking the Hamheung Station of Hamheung City, South Hamgyong Province, The main line was completed on September 10, 1933, with the opening of the Songhung Station to the Bujeo Hojo. This route is an industrial railway connected to the Bugang River hydroelectric power plant, and it plays a major role not only in electric power development but also in the development of passengers and highlands in the Kuma Plateau. In Songgeung Station ~ Byeonjeongryong Station section, there is also an incline that has already disappeared in Korea.
