Newborn Behavior Assessment Method It is a method to evaluate the adaptation method of healthy newborn babies from 3 days to 1 month after birth as behavioral development and check the items by a small number of test tools and measure them. Twenty-seven behavioral items such as attention and skill in visual, auditory, and tactile stimulation, exercise ability of the whole body, reaction or resistance to unpleasant stimuli, control and range of state, and physiological maturity were rated on 9 scales, Each item is rated on three scales. Author Brazelton, J.B (1973) says that if you become proficient, you can do it in 20 to 30 minutes. 신생아행동평가법 생후 3일~1개월까지의 건강한 신생아의 환경에 대한 적응방법을 행동발달로서 파악하고 소수의 검사도구로 해당 항목을 확인해 척도화해서 평가하는 방법이다. 시각ㆍ청각ㆍ촉각 자극에 대한 주의와 숙련, 전신의 운동능력, 불쾌한 자극에 대한 반응이나 저항능력, state의 통제와 범위, 그리고 생리적 성숙도 등 27의 행동항목을 9개의 척도로 평정하고 20의 신경학적 유발항목을 각각 3개의 척도로 평정한다. 작성자 Brazelton, J.B(1973)은 숙달되면 20~30분에 할 수 있다고 말하고 있다.
