The twinning method is a control chart method in which two different management samples (management sample) are measured each time and the values x1 and x2 are plotted on the x and y axes in a time-wise (temporal) manner . In normal cases, the point is distributed in an elliptical shape. If there is an error in the measuring system, is it a systematic factor of the error in the position of the point (x1 and x2 are deviated in the same direction (x1 and x2 change in different directions, and the point is the short axis of the ellipse \u0026 lt; deviation \u0026 lt; deviation \u0026 gt; in the short axis \u0026 gt; direction) . This control chart method has been proposed by Youden and originally used in the evaluation of the quality control survey. It is also called Youden float. 쌍치법관리도 다른 2개의 관리용시료(管理用試料)를 매회 측정하여 그 값 x1, x2를 각각 x, y축에 경시적(經時的)으로 플로트해가는 관리도법(管理圖法)이다. 정상인 경우, 점은 타원형을 그리며 분포하는데, 측정계(測定系)에 이상이 있는 경우, 그 점의 위치에서 오차(誤差)의 요인이 계통적(系統的)인 것인가(x1과 x2는 같은 방향으로 편위<偏位>), 우발적인 것인가(x1과 x2는 다른 방향으로 변화하고, 점은 타원의 단축<短軸>방향으로 편위<偏位>)를 어느 정도 판정할 수 있다.
이 관리도법(管理圖法)은 Youden에 의해 제창되어 본래 정도관리조사(精圖管理調查)의 평가에 이용되어 온 것으로서 Youden 플로트라고도 일컬어진다.
