Yangmu Movement
The Yangmoo Movement refers to the military-centered modernization movement that was led by bureaucrats in the late Qing Dynasty in the late 19th century. It is the Qing dynasty 's Janggang movement that tried to maintain and reinforce the feudal system with the introduction of European modern technology. It is also called jagang movement. Yangmu refers to the relations and exchanges between the Qing Dynasty and Western countries. At that time, the Qing dynasty revealed the weaknesses of the invasion of the invasive opium war and the eroticism of the Great Powers, and the feudal domination system was in crisis because of the difficulty of the Taiping Heaven inside. In such a situation, the Korean government officials such as the Chukbang-no, Lee Hong-jang, etc. caused the modern military industry, while Chang Ji-dong and the castle revolt caused the corrugated plywood business to perform to some extent. However, this Jagang movement focused only on the modernization of the military - centered society. As a result of neglecting the modernization of society and the political system, it showed a weakness in the battle of Cheongwol and Cheonil.
