A type of photometer that performs quantitative analysis of element by applying dyeing reaction (flame color reaction). The liquid sample is exposed and diffused into a flame with a prism, and the intensity of the light of a specific wavelength is measured using a photo tube. It is used for the measurement of sodium or potassium in serum in clinical tests. 염광광도계 염색반응(炎色反應)을 응용해서 원소의 정량분석을 하는 광도계의 일종. 액체시료를 노상(露狀)으로 해서 불길속에 넣었을 때에 생긴 빛을 프리즘으로 분광하고 특정파장의 빛의 강도를 광전관을 사용해서 측정한다. 임상검사에서 혈청중의 나트륨이나 칼륨의 측정에 사용된다.
