Hoengseong-eup
Hoengseong-eup is a small-market market village developed on the slope of the mountain line, which is the contact line between the western plains and eastern Taebaek mountains. It is the seat of the county government of Hoengseong County, and is located on the left bank of the south river of the Namhan River. There is a lot of production of agricultural, livestock and livestock products as a key point of traffic which is the intersection of Gangneung road and Chuncheon and Wonju highway. There are many colorful buildings of Unam-jung in Namsan and Byeongboksa in Songgwon, which is rich in rice paddy fields, and the name of Namsan Temple and Bongboksa Temple. There are 157 elementary schools, 54 middle schools, and 48 high schools.
