Agronomi
Agronomy is a branch of agricultural science that deals with the study of the crops and the land where it grows. Agronomists work to develop methods that will improve land use and increase food production and fiber crops. They conduct crop rotation, irrigation and drainage, crop breeding, soil classification, soil fertility, lawn control, and other parts. Agronomi merupakan satu cabang sains pertanian yang memperkatakan mengenai kajian tanaman dan tanah yang mana ia bertumbuh. Ahli agronomi bekerja untuk mengembangkan kaedah yang akan memperbaiki kegunaan tanah dan meningkatkan penghasilan makanan dan tanaman serat. Mereka menjalankan kajian penggiliran tanaman, pengairan dan saliran, pembiakan tanaman, pengelasan tanah, penyuburan tanah, pengawalan rumput, dan bahagian lain.
