Antagonist
An antagonist is a character or a group of characters, or, sometimes an institution of an incident that represents the opposition opposed to protagonists' arguments. In the classic style of a story where the action consists of a hero against a criminal, both of them can be regarded as the protagonists and antagonists respectively. Contrary to the public's beliefs, the antagonists are not necessarily evil, but only against the main character.
