Bahau is a town located in the Jempol district of Negeri Sembilan. It is 11 km from Bandar Seri Jempol and 24 km from Kuala Pilah. Most of the population works in the agricultural sector, followed by the services and business sectors. Among the places of interest are Teratak Za'ba. There is a village named Kampung Jambu Lapan where there is a historic passage known as Dredging. Based on reliable source of information, Hang Tuah often uses this route.
