Encephalitis
Encephalitis is an acute inflammation of the brain caused by a viral infection. Sometimes encephalitis can be caused by bacterial infections, such as meningitis, or complications from other diseases such as crazy dog disease or syphilis. Parasitic and protozoa diseases such as toxoplasmosis, malaria, or major ammonium meningoensefalitis, may also cause encephalitis in people whose immune systems are less. Brain damage occurs because the brain is pushed to the skull and causes death.
