Phosphorus
Phosphorus ,, is a chemical element in periodic table symbolizing P and having atomic number 15. A multivalent non-metallic element in a nitrogenous group, a common phosphorus found in inorganic phosphate rocks and in all living cells. Due to its high reactivity, it has never been found to be free in nature. It emits dark coals when exposed to oxygen, exists in some form of alotrop, and is an essential element for all living organisms. The most important use of phosphorus is the manufacture of fertilizers. It is also widely used in explosives, matches, fireworks, pesticides, toothpaste, and detergents.
