Laser

Laser

Laser is a device that emits light through a process called aroused emission. Laser is an acronym to LASER. Laser light is a visible electromagnetic wave that is within a certain range. It is an optical source that emits photons in a coherent emission. Laser light is usually almost-monochromatic, for example, contains a single wavelength or color, and transmitted in fine beam. This differs from ordinary light sources, such as bulbs, which emit photons that can be seen in all directions, typically covering wider electromagnetic spectrum wavelengths. Laser action can be understood through the use of quantum mechanics and thermodynamics. The verb "to lase" means "to produce clear light" or the possibility of "cutting or treating with visible light", and constituting a base laser term.
