Centipede

Centipede is an artropod belonging to the Chilopoda class in Myriapoda subfilum. Centipede is a long animal with a pair of legs for each body segment. The centipede can have a foot from below 20 to over 300. The centipede has an odd pair of feet, for example 15 or 17 pairs of feet but not 16 pairs of feet. Centipede is usually carnivorous. It is estimated that there are 8,000 centipede species worldwide, and 3,000 have been identified.
