Malaria

Malaria is a disease caused by the most common protozoal parasite in the world, plasmodium that contributes to approximately 3 million cases and 1.5 to 2.7 million deaths annually. It is spread by anopheles of Anopheles genus (mosquito mosquito), especially Anopheles sundaicus in Asia and An. gambiae in Africa. Many people get malaria while traveling to tropical or subtropical countries. Malaria occurs in most parts of sub Saharan Arika, Southeast and South Asia, Mexico, Haiti, Central and South America, Papua New Guinea and the Solomon Islands. Malaria is a vector-borne infectious disease caused by protozoa parasites. It extends in tropical and subtropical areas, including parts of America, Asia, and Africa. Every year it causes illness at around 650 million people and kills between one and three million, mostly children in Sub-Saharan Africa. Malaria is usually associated with poverty, but is also a source of poverty and a major barrier to economic development. Malaria is one of the most common infectious diseases and a great general health problem. Malaria adalah penyakit yang disebabkan oleh parasit protozoa yang paling biasa di dunia, iaitu plasmodium yang menyumbang kepada lebih kurang 3 juta kes dan 1.5 hingga 2.7 juta kematian setiap tahun. Ia disebarkan oleh nyamuk betina genus Anopheles (nyamuk tiruk), terutamanya Anopheles sundaicus di Asia dan An. gambiae di Afrika.
