Monopoly
Monopoli
In economics, monopoly is a full control over a trade or service item in a particular market by a person or a company. Monopoly is different from monopsoni ie trying to have a buyer of goods or services; a monopoly supplier can dominate monopsonies against any market sector. Similarly, the monopoly differs from the cartel, some suppliers acting together to coordinate the service, price or sale of goods. Monopoly can be formed naturally or vertically or horizontally combined. Force monopoly occurs when a monopoly practitioner blatantly prohibits competitors from entering the field. Often, competition laws impose certain restrictions on monopoly practices. Although it is not legally wrong to dominate a market, there are certain wrongful acts arising from the domination of a business that must be restricted by law.
