Silver
Silver or argentum is a type of elemental metal metal with an Ag symbol and atomic number 47. Silver is sparkling white and is a type of transition metal. The conductivity of silver metal is the highest for all elements while the thermal conductivity of silver metal is the highest for metals. Silver exists in its original form in pure form, but can also be obtained in the form of alloys with gold or in many minerals. Silver metals are mostly derived from copper mining, gold, lead and zinc mining products. This metal has been known since ancient times and has long been considered a valuable metal. Silver is used to produce high value jewelery, jewelry, equipment and utensils and coins. At present, silver metal is used to produce electric conductors and electrical connectors. This metal is also used in the manufacture of mirrors and in catalytic chemical reactions. Silver compounds are used in photographic films.
