Puguk or also known as Betemak Owl is one of the animals found in Malaysia. His scientific name Ninox scutulata. Pungguk is a owl that is a fixed breeder in South Asia from India and east of Sri Lanka to western Indonesia and south of China. This species is part of a larger owl group known as the common owls, Strigidae, which contains most species of owls. Another group is the owl owl, Tytonidae. Pungguk is the largest breeder in southern tropical Asia from the Middle East to southern China. Its habitat is a wooded area and lots of trees. It has two to five eggs in the hole in the tree.
