Secularism
Secular is the concept that governments or other entities must exist in isolation from religion and / or religious beliefs. On the one hand, secularism can give the right to be free from religious rules and teachings, and freedom from the imposition of government religion on the people in a country that is independent of religious affairs. On the other hand, it refers to the view that human activities and decisions, especially those who are politics, must be based on evidence and impartiality with religious influence. Secularism derives its intellectual roots from Greek and Roman philosophers such as Marcus Aurelius and Epicurus, medieval Islamic polymaths such as Ibn Rushd, Conscious thinkers such as Denis Diderot, Voltaire, John Locke, James Madison, Thomas Jefferson, and Thomas Paine, and independent, agnostic thinkers and atheists such as Bertrand Russell and Robert Ingersoll. The purpose and the debate on different support are broad. European laikism, it has been argued that secularism is a movement towards modernization, and far from traditional religious values.
