Standardization
Standardization or Standardization is the process of specifying specs, which are the standard among entities competing in the marketplace, especially in the field of technology and industry. Standards bring goodness without reducing the competition between those entities. Examples of standardization are the formal use of metric system in the worldwide measurement. Standardization can also be seen as a guideline that all parties agree on doing something, for example producing a product in the industrial field. The international body which manages and determines international standardization is ISO.
