WHAT DOES STEREO MEAN IN MALAY?
Stereoonic sound
Stereo or stereo sound is a sound production method by using at least two audio channels via symmetrical speaker composing to sound from multiple directions as if listening naturally, compared to monaural or "mono" sound which is the audio of a single channel only in the center of the hearing field. Stereo recording is used for FM broadcasting and Digital Audio Broadcasting as well as some television systems. Sound engineers use a variety of stereo recording methods, including using a pair of directional microphones, a pair of microphones all arranged in parallel, or any more complex technique. Some monoophonic footage such as Oklahoma, Carousel, and South Pacific footage by Broadway actors, was once reproduced in the form of a "fake" stereo to sound the sound that originally was recorded in stereo. The first stereo broadcast was made through the telephone system by Clement Ader in 1881. BBC announced the first stereo radio broadcast in December 1925.
