PRONUNCIATION OF TV IN MALAY

TV

WHAT DOES TV MEAN IN MALAY?

Television

Television is a popular telecommunications media used to transmit and receive motion pictures, whether monochrome or color, usually accompanied by sound. "Television" may also mean television set, television program or television broadcast. The word "television" is derived from a combination of tele words from Greek and visio from Latin. Television boxes sold since the late 1930s have become one of the major communications receivers in homes, businesses and institutions, particularly as a source of entertainment and news. Since the 1970s, the emergence of video tapes, laser discs, DVDs and now Blu-ray has also made the television set as a tool to screen recording material. Although there are other television uses such as closed circuit televisions, the most important use is television broadcasting based on the existing radio broadcasting system developed in the 1920s, using high-powered radio frequency transmitters to broadcast television signals to TV receivers.
