WHAT DOES ALDOSTERON MEAN IN POLISH?

Aldosteron

Aldosterone - an organic compound of steroids. It belongs to the steroid hormones produced by the glial follicle of the adrenal cortex. Aldosterone belongs to the group of adrenal cortical hormones known as mineral corticosteroids. They regulate the water-mineral economy of the system, within the so-called. RAA system. Together with 11-deoxycorticosterone, it acts on the kidney tubular epithelium, enhancing the resorption of sodium salts, inhibiting their excretion into sodium urine as sodium chloride. With NaCl in the body, water is stopped and there is a decrease in the amount of potassium in body fluids. Aldosterone and its less active 11-deoxycorticosterone have a significant effect on the mineral composition of the urine. It increases the reabsorption of sodium in the distal canals and its replacement into potassium and hydrogen ions. As a result, the concentration of sodium in the blood and tissues increases, and its excretion in the urine decreases. Increasing the sodium concentration in the body causes an increase in the osmotic pressure of body fluids, so the secretion of vasopressin, which inhibits diuresis and excretion of water, is increased, until the normal osmotic ratios are established.

Aldosteron – organiczny związek chemiczny z grupy steroidów. Należy do hormonów sterydowych wytwarzanych przez warstwę kłębkowatą kory nadnerczy. Aldosteron należy do grupy hormonów kory nadnerczy określanych jako mineralokortykosteroidy. Regulują one gospodarkę wodno-mineralną ustroju, w ramach tzw. układu RAA. Razem z 11-deoksykortykosteronem działa on na nabłonki kanalików nerkowych, wzmagając resorpcję zwrotną soli sodowych, hamują ich wydalanie do moczu sodu w postaci chlorku sodu. Wraz z NaCl w ustroju zatrzymana jest woda oraz występuje obniżenie się ilości potasu w płynach ustrojowych. Aldosteron i słabiej od niego działający 11-deoksykortykosteron ma istotny wpływ na mineralny skład moczu. Zwiększa on wchłanianie zwrotne sodu w kanalikach dystalnych oraz jego wymianę na jony potasu i wodoru. Skutkiem tego rośnie stężenie sodu we krwi i w tkankach, spada zaś jego wydalanie w moczu. Wzrost stężenia sodu w organizmie wywołuje wzrost ciśnienia osmotycznego płynów ustrojowych, zwiększa się więc wydzielanie wazopresyny, która hamuje diurezę i wydalanie wody, aż do ustalenia się normalnych stosunków osmotycznych.
