Kanossa

Kanossa is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Reggio Emilia in the Italian region Emilia-Romagna, located about 25 km southwest of Parma. According to the 2004 census, the municipality is inhabited by 3376 people, 63.7 persons / km². The castle in Kanossa was originally to Matilda, Countess of Tuscany. Kanossa – miejscowość i gmina we Włoszech, w regionie Emilia-Romania, w prowincji Reggio Emilia, u podnóża Apenin, ok. 25 km od Parmy. Według danych na rok 2004 gminę zamieszkuje 3376 osób, 63,7 os./km². Zamek w Kanossie należał pierwotnie do Matyldy, hrabiny Toskanii.
