Diastrophism
Diastrophism is the geology of all processes that cause mechanical deformation of the earth's crust in its geological evolution. Endogenous processes leading to changes in the earth's crust in large areas are called distrofism. It includes processes related to the ascent and descent and deformation of the earth's crust. We include euphoric, thalassogenic, epiprophic, mountainous and seismic movements.
