WHAT DOES DOWN MEAN IN POLISH?

down

Down is a New Orleans-based supergroup performing a heavy metal variation called southern metal that also features metal sludge in its music. It was founded in 1991. Its members are Phil Anselmo, Pepper Keenan, Kirk Windstein, Rex Brown and Jimmy Bower. Todd Strange participated in the recording of his debut album NOLA. The band performed three times in Poland - March 29, 2008 in Warsaw Stodola, June 22, 2009 at the Krakow Studio Club and on June 20, 2013 at the Metalfest Festival in Jaworzno. Since 2008 the group is working on material for the fourth album, which is to consist of at least two EPs. In 2009, the band left Rex Brown and replaced former bassist Crowbar, Pat Bruders. In 2013, Kirk Windstein left the band and replaced Bobby Landgraf with Honky's guitarist.
