Joint

Joint - slang term used to describe a cigarette-like product filled with cannabis, sometimes with tobacco. The mouthpiece is usually made of a piece of folded cardboard or replaced with a piece of cigarette. The term twist can also refer to traditional tobacco wrapped in tissue paper. As with pipes, different types of tobacco are available, along with other accessories such as tissue paper, filters and twisting machines. The tradition of producing joints was born in Jamaica, where they are called spliffs. Originally built of hardwood, which over time has been replaced by thin paper, now known as tissue paper.

Joint – slangowy termin używany do określania wyrobu przypominającego wyglądem papierosa, wypełnionego suszem z konopi, czasem z domieszką tytoniu. Ustnik zazwyczaj wykonywany jest z kawałka zwiniętej tekturki bądź zastępuje się go fragmentem papierosa. Termin skręt może się odnosić również do tradycyjnego tytoniu, zawijanego własnoręcznie w bibułkę. Podobnie jak do fajek, dostępne są różne odmiany tytoniu do skrętów, wraz z innymi akcesoriami, jak bibułki, filtry i maszynki do skręcania. Tradycja wyrobu jointów narodziła się na Jamajce, gdzie nazywane są one spliffami. Początkowo zbudowane były z twardego drewna, który z biegiem czasu został zastąpiony cienkim papierem, określanym dzisiaj jako bibułka.
