Puginał

Puginał - one of the oldest varieties of secrets, sword miniature. Small pugnaly, usually in civilian use, is commonly referred to as a dagger. The pugins used by the Romans from the 1st century BC to the 1st century AD. In Africa, the Kasai people made copper pugins. There were many of its local variants, such as the Indian rhino, Japanese tantō, Italian cinquedea, the Georgia kama, the Malay kris. In Western Europe, in the late Middle Ages, its widespread form was the Mizerykordia, and from the 16th to the 18th century the left. It has a single or two-pronged head, a chameleon. Worn in the vagina at the right side, in a civilian dress hanging on the waist at the front, and sometimes taken at the waist in combination with a pouch. In the 13th and 14th centuries the Polish lands were the primary weapon of every knight. The blade length was approximately 30 cm. The pugnage was basically not suitable for cutting, serving for precise puncture wounds for the nearest distance to exposed or poorly shielded areas. He served not only for self-defense but also for assassination. Puginał – jedna z najstarszych odmian broni siecznej, miniatura miecza.
