Znos

Znos - the phenomenon of drift from the course of a vessel due to the influence of the current. In counting navigation - the angle at which the ship is being lifted by the current. To determine the course of the ship moving over the bottom of the boat, it is necessary to add a correction to the current course. When the ship is aborted from the course to the left, the current correction has a negative sign when the right sign is positive. KDd = KDw + pp The value is usually taken into account not by calculation, but by drawing on the map or plotting the motion vector of the ship and graphically adding it to the current vector. In navigational practice there are two cases of taking into account the current: ▪ passive - when the navigator determines the position counted after the fact takes into account the operation of the current. This method is mainly used in open water where there are no strong currents, and precise determination of current parameters is not possible. ▪ active - when the navigator calculates in advance what course should be controlled to counteract the current target.

Znos - zjawisko znoszenia z kursu jednostki pływającej wskutek oddziaływania na nią prądu. W nawigacji zliczeniowej - kąt o jaki znoszony jest statek przez prąd . Aby określić kurs jakim statek przemieszcza się nad dnem należy do kursu jakim statek płynie po wodzie dodać poprawkę na prąd. Gdy statek znoszony jest z kursu w lewo poprawka na prąd ma znak ujemny, gdy znoszony jest w prawo znak jest dodatni. KDd = KDw + pp Znos zwykle uwzględnia się jednak nie rachunkowo, a kreśląc na mapie lub plottingu wektor ruchu statku i graficznie dodając do niego wektor prądu. W praktyce nawigacyjnej spotyka się dwa przypadki uwzględniania prądu: ▪ bierne - kiedy to nawigator określając pozycję zliczoną po fakcie uwzględnia działanie prądu. Metodę tę stosuje się głównie na otwartych akwenach, gdzie nie występują silne prądy, a dokładne określenie parametrów prądu zwykle nie jest możliwe. ▪ czynne – gdy nawigator z góry kalkuluje jakim kursem należy sterować, aby przeciwdziałając prądowi osiągnąć zamierzony cel.
