Anisocoria

Anisocoria is a condition characterized by the unequal size of the pupils. This inequality can be caused by traumas suffered in one of the hemispheres of the brain. Or it may be seen in unilateral painful ocular changes such as ulcerative keratitis, which caused miosis in one eye while the other remains normal, giving the impression of anisocoria. The British musician David Bowie is one of the famous who has this condition, acquired in adolescence during a fight in which he received a punch in the eye.
