Claude Debussy

Claude Debussy

Claude-Achille Debussy was a French musician and composer. Debussy's innovative music acted as a catalytic phenomenon of various musical movements in other countries. In France, only Ravel is identified as influenced, but only in the youth, not being properly disciple. Influenced were also Béla Bartók, Manuel de Falla, Heitor Villa-Lobos and others. From the Prélude à l'après-midi d'un Faune, with which, for Pierre Boulez, began Modern Music, up to Jeux, all of Debussy's art was a lesson of nonconformity.
