Physiotherapy
Physiotherapy can be defined as a science applied to the study, diagnosis, prevention and treatment of functional kinetic dysfunctions of organs and systems. Its management requires the understanding of the structures and functions of the human body. It studies, diagnoses, prevents and treats, among other things, kinetic-functional disorders resulting from changes in organs and human systems. In addition, Physical Therapy studies the beneficial effects of physical resources such as body movement, electromagnetic radiation and currents, ultrasound, among other resources, on the human organism. It is the area of activity of the professional graduated in a bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy. The physiotherapist is capable of diagnosing dysfunctions, assessing, reassessing, prescribing, emitting, prognosis, designing intervention projects, and deciding on high physical therapy. It is administered in offices, clinics, rehabilitation centers, asylums, schools, homes, clubs, academies, residences, hospitals, companies, basic or specialized health units, research, among others, both public and private services.
