Bouba

Bouba is an infectious tropical disease of the skin, bones and cartilage caused by the bacterium Spirochete Treponema. Other diseases caused by different treponemas are bejel, pint, syphilis, and Lyme disease. The origin of the name frambesia originates from the term "raspberry" since some lesions of the skin resemble its form, with papules clustered in cluster form, followed by pruritus. Bouba é uma doença tropical infecciosa da pele, ossos e cartilagens causada pela bactéria espiroqueta Treponema pertenue. Outras doenças causadas por treponemas diferentes são bejel, pinta, sífilis, e Doença de Lyme. A origem do nome frambesia origina-se do termo "framboesa" já que algumas lesões da pele assemelham-se à sua forma, com pápulas agrupadas em forma de cacho, seguidas de prurido.
