VAIŞEŞÍKA s. Indian philosophical school of the sec. V a. Chr., Which conceives the substances (earth, water, fire and air) in the spirit of materialism as being composed of atoms, to which the soul and the intellect are added. (cf. VAIȘEȘÍKA s. f. școală filozofică indiană din sec. V a. Chr., care concepe substanțele (pământul, apa, focul și aerul) în spiritul materialismului, ca fiind compuse din atomi, cărora li se adaugă sufletul și intelectul. (cf. sanscr. vișeșa, deosebit)
