Archaeography
Archaeography is a special auxiliary historical discipline that develops the theory and practice of publishing written sources. Archaeography is closely connected with philology, source study, paleography, textology, diplomacy, archival studies, document management and other disciplines. In Western European historical science archeography as an independent historical discipline usually does not stand out, nor is the term "archeography" used. In many ways, archeography is close to paleography.
