Volcanology
Volcanology is a science that studies the processes and causes of the formation of volcanoes, their development, the structure and composition of the eruption products, the change in the nature of their activity, as well as the regularities of the location of volcanoes on the Earth's surface. The practical goal of volcanology is the development of methods for predicting eruptions and the use of volcanic heat of hot waters and steam for the needs of the national economy.
