The majority of the people living in the region from India to Western Europe, using the Indian race of the Aryan race, are a common race. According to the Aryan race theory, this European tribe had invaded India at the beginning of the history ages and today the caste system in India and local religion have emerged as the end result of this invasion. However, it was understood that the caste system was not the product of such an invasion, as it was impossible to detect large genetic differences among these social groups as a result of a joint genetic research carried out by leading US universities such as Harvard, MIT in 2009. The theory of Aryan race was first supported at the political level during the occupation of India by the British. The British defended these assertions that India was already invaded by the Aristians, who were once a European tribe, to justify the occupation. Politically, aryosophy reached the summit in Adolf Hitler in Germany.

Ari ırk Hint-Avrupa dillerini kullanan Hindistan'dan Batı Avrupa'ya Kadar olan bölgede yaşayan halkların çoğunu ortak bir ırk kabul eden kavramdır. Ari ırk teorisine göre Avrupalı olan bu kavim tarih çağlarının başında Hindistan'ı istila etmiş ve bugün Hindistan'daki kast sistemi, ve yerel din bu istila sonucu ortaya çıkmıştır. Ancak 2009 yılında sonuçlanan ve Harvard, MIT gibi ABD'nin önde giden üniversiteleri tarafından yürütülen ortak bir genetik araştırma sonucunda bu sosyal gruplar arasında genetik büyük farklar saptamanın imkânsız olduğu, dolayısıyla da kast sisteminin böyle bir istilanın ürünü olmadığı anlaşılmıştır. Ari ırk teorisi siyasi boyutta ilk defa Hindistan'ın İngilizler tarafından işgali sırasında desteklenmiştir. İngilizler işgali haklı çıkarmak için Hindistan'ın zaten eskiden Avrupalı bir kavim olan Ariler tarafından istila edildiği yönündeki bu iddiaları savunmuştur. Siyasi anlamda aryosofi, Almanya'da Adolf Hitler döneminde zirveye ulaşmıştır.
