The Cenozoic Time is the geological time period which began almost 65 million years ago and lasted for a very long time, just after the previous time, the Mesozoic Time-ending T / T Event. Memelilerin, kuşların ve otsu bitkilerin evrimleri ise dönem boyunca sürmüş, memeliler tüm gezegende baskın tür olmuşlardır.
