Pressing of wood chip sawdust by mixing with certain chemical binders is the resultant plate. Used frequently in the furniture industry. It is produced in various thicknesses within certain standards. It has no resistance against water and burning. It is produced in various qualities and the impact strength varies according to the quality. Unqualified, thin-walled wood is used as raw material, a wooden plate produced as an alternative to first class timber. The grains are divided into small pieces in the chipping machines. It is reduced to a certain moisture content in the drying oven and after the sifting process, it is mixed with glue. Lower, middle and upper layers are laid in layers. The material pressed under a certain temperature and pressure becomes a 'massive' material by the reaction of the glue. Subsequently, the sheets are sanded and then served for a period of time. Nowadays, we are producing more durable chips that have passed the test.

Sunta odun talaşının belli kimyasal birleştiriciler ile karıştırılarak preslenmesi sonucu elde edilen levhadır. Mobilya sanayinde sıkça kullanılır. Belirli standartlar dahilinde çeşitli kalınlıklarda üretilir. Suya ve yanmaya karşı dayanımı yoktur. Çeşitli kalitelerde üretilir ve darbe dayanımı kalitesine göre değişir. Vasıfsız, ince çaplı odunların hammadde olarak kullanıldığı, birinci sınıf keresteye alternatif olarak üretilen ahşap plakadır. Odunlar, yongalama makinelerinde küçük parçalara bölünür. Kurutma fırınında belli bir nem oranına indirilir ve eleme işleminden sonra, tutkalla karıştırılır. Alt, orta ve üst olmak üzere, tabakalar halinde serilir. Belirli bir sıcaklık ve basınç altında preslenen malzeme, tutkalın reaksiyona girmesi ile, ‘masif’ bir malzeme haline gelir. Daha sonra zımparalanan levhalar, bekletildikten sonra, tüketime sunulur. Günümüzde ise testten geçirilmiş, suya daha fazla dayanıklı suntalar üretiliyor.
