《保卫延安》，长篇小说，杜鹏程著。初版于1954年，1956年、1958年进行了修订，文化大革命后初版了第四版。1963年曾被中国文化部查禁，1967年更被《人民日报》称为“反党活标本”。 小说叙述解放军战士周大勇在长城突围、青化砭战斗等战役中的英勇表现。整个小说主要是政治话语，没有对个人情感和私事的描写，反面人物在书中多是奸佞化处理。其中的战争感，来源于作者自己的经历，“在战斗生活中这种对我锤炼、检验、改造和提高的事情，我可以举出五十件、一百件……”。该书继承了《三国演义》、《水浒传》等书的党派化描写，也受到俄罗斯文学的影响。

After the PLA took the initiative to withdraw from Yan'an, the two battles in Qinghua and Beaulieu won successive victories. Zhou Dayong even lose contact with the main, alone, to get around. The Kuomintang troops waged a decisive battle with the People's Liberation Army and the result was severely hit. For the first time, the novel has shaped the image of General Peng Dehuai.
