Deng Xiaoping Theory
According to the official definition of the Communist Party of China, Deng Xiaoping Theory is based on Deng Xiaoping as the main founder of the construction of socialism with Chinese characteristics as the theme of the theory. Deng Xiaoping Theory is regarded by the Communist Party of China as a major theoretical achievement of Marxism in China. It is a theoretical summary of the socialist construction experience that the Chinese Communist Party has obtained from the Soviet model. This theory is embodied in the speeches, reports and resolutions of Deng Xiaoping after the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee of the Communist Party of China in 1978. The Communist Party of China divides the formation of the theory into four stages: the period from 1978 to 1982, which was the stage of basic theoretical propositions. The period from 1982 to 1987 was the basic outline of the theory. From 1987 to 1992, the theory was mature and the system was established , 1992-1997 period for the further enrichment and development of the theory. In September 1997, the 15th CPC National Congress put Deng Xiaoping's theory of socialism with Chinese characteristics directly as "Deng Xiaoping Theory", hence the name.
