Gao Gang (October 25, 1905 - August 17, 1954) formerly known as Gao Chongde, word Shuoqing, China's Shaanxi Mizhi County town (now Hengshan County), the Chinese Communist Party and the late People's Republic of China senior leader one. Gao Gang in the early years of the revolutionary activities in the northwest, after the Shaanxi-Gansu-Hebei side of the Red Army General Commander of the political commissar, the twenty-six army political commissar, the Red Army Corps political director and other duties, is one of the representatives of the Red Army in northern Shaanxi. After the founding of the People's Republic of China, he served as vice chairman of the Central People's Government, chairman of the Northeast People's Government, set the Northeast party and government forces in one, known as "the king of the Northeast." In 1953, he was appointed as chairman of the National Planning Commission, and later with Rao Shushi conspiracy to replace Liu Shaoqi and Zhou Enlai was criticized, committed suicide.
